No of Vacancies:: 03 (Three)

Category to which the post is reserved:: One reserved for OBC backlog vacancy, one reserved for SC back and another one is reserved for ST backlog vacancy

Scale of pay:: Rs. 29100- 54500

Upper age limit for direct recruitment in years::40 Years(age relaxation refer official notification)

Educational and Other qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment::Essential:
1. Must hold a certificate of competency as master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping Govt. of India.
2. One year post qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of a foreign going ship

testimonials duly attested, two recent passport size photos, latest Caste Certificate whether belongs to
OBC/SC/ST should be sent by post to “The Secretary, 1st Floor, Administrative Office Building,
Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam-530 035” on or before 20.01.2015 SUPERSCRIBING the cover
“APPLICATION TO THE POST OF PILOT (CLASS-I)”.
Applications of those already in service should be got forwarded through their Employer duly
furnishing “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE”.
Depending up on the requirement, VPT reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail the Recruitment
process without any further notice and without assigning any reasons thereof.
Incomplete/unsigned/late/ applications without enclosures will summarily be rejected without any
reasons.
